The world has finally come to an end. The streets, the parks—the entire city is teeming with ferocious purple monsters.(Some have other colors, though.) Still, it’s not all bad. After all, there’s still the friendly and reliable militia, ZUNKS! Team up with ZUNKS and smash your way through a world overrun by monsters! And while you're at it—if you have the time—it wouldn't hurt to save the world by thwarting AAA's massive, sinister plot.

Hold out against the wave of monsters and prepare for the final showdown

ZUNKS is a hardcore top-down action game where you defeat waves of monsters to enhance your character and engage in a final showdown against a formidable boss. Upon arriving at the mission area, monsters will swarm in and the risk rate will begin to rise. As the risk rate increases, more numerous and powerful monsters will appear. Complete the mission by withstanding waves of monsters until the risk rate reaches its maximum.
Defeating the relentless waves of monsters gradually increases the expression level of the Recombinant gene. The more monsters the player defeats, the faster and more significantly the expression level rises. Enhanced recombinants boost various stats, and sometimes even grant special abilities, depending on the configuration of factors selected by the player.

Defeat the boss and complete the mission

If you have successfully held out while the risk rate maxed out, it is now time to defeat the boss and complete the mission to move forward. Bosses are exceptionally powerful and menacing monsters. Defeating them will require not only sufficiently enhanced recombinants but also more precise and sophisticated movements.

Overcome crises using various abilities

If you find yourself in a dire crisis during battle that is difficult to overcome, try using the Frenzy skill to turn the tide. The Frenzy skill is a powerful ability that maximizes the character's capabilities; you can charge the Frenzy gauge through combat and high-difficulty maneuvers. Always keep this trump card in reserve.


In addition, ZUNKS features members with distinct personalities, a variety of components of the Recombinant gene, and diverse types of supplies. If the mission proves too overwhelming, you can try again with a different loadout. Find the loadout that suits you best, complete breathless missions, and save the world!
