About the Game

The Hero Must Die

The Hero thinks this is his story.

Prove him wrong.

Play as Death in a reverse roguelite where a single Hero fights for glory, treasure and survival while you build an army to end him.

Both of you grow stronger; fighting over experience.

The Hero hunts your minions, gains xp, discovers powerful weapons and unlocks devastating abilities.

Death does the same.

Raise armies of bats, skeletons, werewolves, and worse. Unlock dark powers. Capture graves. Grow your forces. Hunt the Hero before he becomes powerful enough to hunt you.

The Race for Power

The Hero needs to survive.

You only need one kill.

Every second the Hero remains alive is another chance for him to steal your levels, open your treasure and become a living legend.

Can you stop him before it's too late?

Build Death's Army

Unlock minions, powers, and upgrades as you level up.

Experiment with different synergies and strategies to overwhelm the Hero before he outgrows your army.

Heroes of Lore

Heroes never truly die.

Defeated Heroes may return as Heroes of Lore, powerful rivals who remember how they were slain.

Killed a Hero with bats?

Don't be surprised when they return wearing anti-bat armour!

Every victory changes the future.
