About the Game

Zero-G Guns is a game made to show that VR movement can be so much more than just joystick and teleportation movement. Travel through the Space Station in Zero Gravity, using the recoil of the guns you find along your way to the exit.

Gun recoil movement:

For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. So, fire a bullet one way and you will fly in the opposite direction. Find different guns around the station, use two guns at the same time and fly through the station while killing all the intruders that try to stop you from getting back home.

Physics based movement:

Intuitively push against the environment to move through the station, push against floating boxes and barrels, and watch how you both move in opposite directions.

Grab onto the environment:

Move around like a space parkour pro by grabbing onto various things like handlebars, duct supports and sprinklers. Grab these conveniently yellow painted objects to fully control your position in space. Use this to swing from bar to bar or hold yourself in place while you shoot at your enemies.

About me and the game:

This game (except for the 3D assets) is made entirely by me, Roel204.

It started as my 'Personal Learning Environment' project for school, with the idea of creating a new and interesting way to move in VR. But I don't see this game as just another school project, it's a game I personally like and will keep working on in the future.
