The protagonist, YUMI, is a young magician with a distinctive blue hat and cape. One day, while playing in the forest as usual, she suddenly falls into a mysterious hole. When she wakes up, she finds herself in a strange fantasy world. Determined to return to her own world, YUMI sets off on an adventurous journey through the unknown.

Collecting floating fruits is a key gameplay element. These fruits can increase the number of remaining lives or even grant special abilities, such as instantly teleporting to the end of the stage in certain situations.
