About the Game

Three women. One fatal decision. And a deep ocean that remembers everything.

Fifteen hundred miles from land, aboard the deep-sea mining vessel M/V Hesperia, Operations Director Lachlan Crowe is chasing the first continuous commercial harvest ever attempted—four and a half kilometers above a living abyss no one has truly mapped. Three weeks ago, he made a go/no-go call in the wrong sea state, and a young deck tech named Tavita died when the recovery system failed. Now the inquiry is open, a protest flotilla is closing in, investors are demanding tonnage, and the bottom keeps scrolling across a monitor—beautiful, unknowable, and disappearing under steel.

When the pressure peaks, Lachlan's next choice isn't about production—it's about who he walks toward first. Each route is a sealed-hull romance of grief, power, and longing—where intimacy becomes both refuge and risk, and "acceptable impact" stops being a number and starts being a name.

Meet the Cast

Vita Sandoval — The Collector Pilot
Vita is the ship's elite collector pilot: a fast-talking, joystick-steady prodigy whose hands quite literally drive the entire venture's tonnage. Lachlan built her career—making their bond equal parts mentorship, dependence, and dangerous intimacy—especially after Tavita's death shook the crew and cracked her cocky armor. Her motif is arcade and video games—save points, boss fights, "one more credit"—and her route asks the sharpest question on the ship: when your future is someone else's reward to grant, how do you make your yes truly yours?

Mareva Teaiwa — The Observer
Mareva is the independent benthic ecologist and environmental observer whose data can halt the harvest—and whose presence aboard makes the operation a public battleground. Aligned with ocean-defense forces closing on the horizon, she's merciless with bad science and impossible to buy, rush, or charm into silence. Her motif is tides and the living reef: she speaks of currents, memory, and the ocean's time—and her romance with Lachlan is a charged crossing of lines where conviction and desire threaten to compromise everything.

Sylvie Crowe — The Systems Engineer
Sylvie is Tethys' lead subsea systems engineer: precise, disciplined, and terrifyingly clear-eyed about what steel can—and cannot—hold. She's also Lachlan's wife of eleven years, separated but trapped on the same hull, with Tavita's death hanging between them like an unclosed circuit. Her motif is celestial navigation—a woman who measures the heart by distant stars, trying to find one true fix after years of dead reckoning with a man she still knows too well.

Key Features

  • Single-choice romance structure with three distinct routes: Commit to one relationship early—then live with the consequences as the campaign, the inquiry, and the ocean close in.
  • A rare adult VN setting: Deep-sea extraction, corporate pressure, environmental opposition, and the claustrophobia of a ship that no one can leave.
  • High-stakes emotional conflict: Love doesn't exist outside the job—each romance is entangled with responsibility, guilt, ambition, and the truth of what happened to Tavita.
  • Three heroines, three emotional "languages": Stars, tides, and arcade metaphors shape how each woman processes desire, grief, and belonging—while Lachlan's own narration stays anchored in operations and breath-hold descent.
  • A grounded moral thriller under the romance: Protest fleets, PR spin, withheld data, and an unfolding inquiry—where being "first to the bottom" may outlive every human cost.
  • Explicit adult content: Each romance route contains explicit adult scenes.

Content Warning

Yield to the Abyss is an Adult Romance Visual Novel featuring mature themes and explicit sexual content intended for adults only (18+). The story also includes grief, workplace power dynamics, corporate coercion, and references to a recent fatal accident and its investigation.
