Welcome to Malavar, a nation of lush jungles and liberality. A definite improvement over your country of birth. You are Xochi, an alchemist of relentless talent and sarcastic wit. You’ll be too busy managing your shop to get out much, but as you play host to everyone from councilors to artists to assassins, you’ll discover your new country by getting to know its people.
Living in a port city means you’ll never want for customers. Meet characters from all walks of life, figure out what each of them needs, and create alchemical solutions that will help them pass their exams, survive in the wilds, or bend the world into a better shape.
In exchange for your new life in Malavar, you agreed to say nothing about your old one. You signed away the right to talk about the country of your birth when you left its borders. Luckily, Malavar is filled with people that may help you shoulder the burden of your past – whether they know it or not. Create bonds with the people you choose, one day at a time, and open new paths for you and your companions alike.
Your arrival isn’t the only event of note in Malavar. Political struggles abound. The monsters in the mountains are breeding faster than ever. And the fussy neighborhood cat has wandered off…again. The choices you make won’t only shape you and your companions, but will shift the course of your new nation – and the one you left behind.
