About the Game

Cultivate the Unknown in XenoFields: Frontier!

After crashlanding on an unfamiliar world, you (and your friends) must brave unique biomes discovering new life forms through the flora and fauna, designing new materials to ameliorate your living conditions, splicing together Earth and alien plants to create more sustainable hybrids, and ultimating deciding to terraform the planet or fix your spaceship and head on home! Craft, build, sow, water, harvest, discover, analyze, adapt, but most importantly – have fun!

Four Player CoAdventure (Co-op)

Play with up to three friends! Work together to manage your farm, build structures to make the Crash Site more habitable, and brave this unfamiliar world together.

Adventure and Discover Alien Flora and Fauna! 

Wander unique biomes to locate the lost cryochambers containing Earth plant seeds and discover new life forms. Take a sample of the life form but be careful - you’re not certain that they’re safe! To bring the sample home, first you must play the Sequencing MiniGame and successfully match the base pairs to determine a portion of this species genome.

Manage Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide

Your Spacesuit is equipped with two gas tanks. As you adventure, you will deplete the oxygen tank and store carbon dioxide in the process. Exploit the cycle of these gases to increase the efficiency of your farm and to adventure further out from the Crash Site!

Terraform the Crash Site and Build a Sustainable Farm!

Refine the alien flora samples into unique materials, then craft buildings to make the Crash Site more habitable. Use excess resources to repair your spaceship in hopes of one day returning to Earth with all your discoveries!

 

Customize Alien Item Names

You’re the first human on this planet so you have the rights to name all the life forms that you’ve discovered!

 

Play Through The Night

This alien world has various day and night cycles within a 24-hour period (what is an “hour” on this planet anyway?). Unlike other farming RPGs, you will not be interrupted at 2 am and forced to begin the following day. You may explore and farm as long as you have the energy and oxygen available.
