6 itemsAbout the Game
This is my first game—a social deduction experience inspired by the kind of games I enjoy playing with friends at gatherings.
Many games in this genre offer only limited free content, so I set out to create one with more variety:
8 categories with 30 expressions each, using AI to help with the heavy lifting.
Gameflow
The game flow is simple and quick to set up. Choose the number of players, how many of them are Xenos, whether Xenos receive a hint, and optionally enable a timer with your preferred duration. Then select one or more categories and start the game.
The game will pick a random expression from the selected categories, optionally assign a hint, and include a piece of trivia for added flavor.
Each player then views their role and either the expression or their hint in turn—after that, the round begins.
Background
The main goal of this project is to gain hands-on experience with the full game development pipeline—from creation to marketing and Steam publishing—while preparing for the larger game I ultimately want to build.
The game is currently local multiplayer only. It was originally planned for mobile, but due to the complexity of publishing on platforms like Google Play and the Apple App Store—and the time required to organize testers alongside a full-time job—that version has been postponed for now.
