About the Game

The Mihtgast Empire, celebrating peace for the first time in centuries, is thrust back into turmoil with the death of their leader and disappearance of his heir. As the world experiences an alchemical revolution, a new age of war is on the horizon, and the Wyrd, a vast and dangerous wilderness once thought uninhabitable, is trapped in the eye of the storm. Will its people rise to face these new challenges, or will they become a footnote in the annals of history?

Wyrdwic: At the Heart of a New World is a narrative-driven puzzle management game that follows the newest members of the Guardians’ guild, an organisation dedicated to the people of the Wyrd. Surrounded by dangerous creatures of all kinds, it falls to you as the guild’s manager to lead its members as they fight to protect, guide and aid those around you in an ever changing world on the brink of war. 

  • Experience the story of Aefre, rightful heir to the Mihtgastian throne as she leads the Guardians’ guild, making allies, friends and enemies in her fight to reclaim her home.

  • Lead and befriend a wide cast of characters from several unique locales, both from within the Wyrd and beyond its borders.

  • Determine which of your guild members are best suited to the tasks before you, and guide them as they tackle challenges both great and small.
