About the Game

ABOUT WUMMSEN

Welcome to Wummsen Village – the place where genetically modified cacti throw punches or volleyballs (depending on the discipline) straight around their non-existent ears!

Grab your friends and jump into chaotic battles with 2–4 players, either in teams or free-for-all mode.
Punch, kick, and combo your way through colorful and occasionally completely insane stages.

Core principle: Schallern.
(That’s German for: hit hard, laugh harder.)

GAMEPLAY

Wummsen gives you our special Revolver Combo System – every attack automatically cycles to the next,
allowing you to pull off full combos with just one button.

That means even newcomers can start smacking right away, without spending half the evening explaining controls.

But here’s the real twist: you load the revolver yourself.
Each slot in the revolver holds one attack, and you’ve got two clips of three moves each.

Think of it like building two playlists with your favorite tracks – once a “song” (attack) finishes, the next one starts.

FEATURES

  • 2–4 Players – local couch brawling or via Steam Remote Play (online mode in development)

  • Full Controller Support – for that true “Wumms” feeling (if in doubt: button-mashing recommended)

  • Quick Matches – perfect for short sessions and party nights (around 5 min per round)

  • Unique Combo System – perform flashy combos with a single button

  • Chaotic Stages – from simple arenas to the Festival Stage, where even the music fights back

  • Volleyball Mode – for Blobby Volley fans and physics-driven madness lovers alike

  • Cartoony 3D in 2D Gameplay – bright, colorful, stylized, and pure fun

GAME MODES

  • Boxing – fists, feet, and faces will fly as you punch HP bars toward zero

  • Volleyball – when the ball hits the ground, that’s a point — only the Wummsers spiking and setting technique is a little funky

EASY TO LEARN, HARD TO MASTER

Wummsen Village is so accessible that your friends can start fighting within 30 seconds,
yet deep enough that you’ll still discover new combos and tactics after 30 hours.

IN ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT

Wummsen Village is currently in development.
The demo already includes couch co-op, Steam Remote Play, and some stages —
with more characters, arenas, and game modes coming soon.

WHY YOU SHOULD WUMMS

When that blue shell hits and sends you from first to eighth place — some people get a little violent.
With Wummsen, you can let it all out without breaking your controller or friend.

Just start a round, release your rage, and laugh it off together.

If you love games like Gang Beasts, Stick Fight, or Duck Game, you’ll feel right at home in Wummsen Village.
