World of Anterra is a handcrafted open-world role playing adventure; featuring a non-linear story and quests, deep progression systems, fast and exciting grid-based combat, and rich lore, all wrapped in a satisfying and tactile interface.
Uncover the mysteries of Anterra by asking questions, interacting with the environment, reading books and exploring the world. Learn about the history of magic, and the ancient races. Sneak into crypts, caves and houses and discover secrets hidden in containers or behind breakable objects.
Anterra is a dangerous and unpredictable world, beset by unstable magics, dangerous factions, and tortured creatures... but you will find moments of solitude and comfort amidst the chaos. Rest in friendly taverns, set up camps to sleep the darkness away, or take a moment to sit on a log and enjoy the sights and sounds of a living world.
Combat blends quick-time actions with grid-based strategy. The UI is streamlined so simple encounters can be blasted through with ease. While skill and strategy is needed to conquer the game's more challenging foes; combining skill-based mechanics for attacking and defending, with special abilities, magic spells, crafted items, and strategic movement.
World of Anterra blends hand-animated assets with player customization. Build your party members with a vast array of items and gear and see it all come to life with a custom animation layering system. This system also applies to NPCs and creatures creating a truly diverse and unique experience.
World of Anterra comes to life with a custom real-time lighting engine, beautiful water shaders, dynamic weather, day-night cycles, and wonderful special effects that thoughtfully combine hand-animated sprites with procedural effects.
The interface is designed to focus on tactile items and icons rather than menus and text, making it feel like part of the world. The UI in World of Anterra is both intuitive and fun to use.
