About the Game

Words of Power is a word-guessing roguelike. Enemies are defeated by solving five-letter word puzzles. Players can collect permanent player-enhancing runes and single-use items as they progress through five maps to aid them in defeating enemies.

Enemy encounters choose from over 2000 five-letter words, ensuring each run is different.

Gain powerful runes that permanently enhance your run.

Choose from over 30 unique runes. Obtain as many as you can to aid in solving words.

Forge your own path.

Maps are randomly generated each run. Choose your path as you venture further.

  • 5 areas each run - 3 main areas, a final boss area, and an area for endless mode

  • 5 difficulty options - start on difficulty 1, and unlock further difficulties as you complete runs
