About the Game

Wordforge: Silent Letters is a dungeon-crawling word roguelite and strategy puzzle game where every word you place reveals new rooms, enemies, and hidden rewards.

Explore handcrafted dungeon floors in a turn-based dungeon crawler filled with randomized encounters. Battle creatures lurking within the grid and awaken rare Silent Letters that can change the course of a run. Every submission pushes you deeper into the dungeon, forcing you to balance health, positioning, and risk.

Wordforge introduces the first word crawler — a dungeon roguelite where every word you place pushes you deeper into danger.

Each descent is a self-contained run. If you fall, you return to town to prepare for the next expedition — stronger and wiser than before.

Features

Awaken Silent Letters
Discover glowing Silent Letters hidden throughout the dungeon. Use matching letters to awaken them for immediate health and score bonuses.

Run-Based Progression
Death ends the current descent and returns you to town. Permanent upgrades carry over between runs — collect hearts to increase starting health, gather pouches to expand inventory, and recover rare books to unlock deeper floors.

Restore the Town
Supplies recovered from the dungeon strengthen Rivermoor and raise the town’s standing, helping support future expeditions.

Descend Deeper, Face Greater Risk
Each level grows larger and more dangerous. Battle enemies revealed within the grid and decide when to descend — or keep exploring for greater rewards.

Endurance Dungeon
Unlock a special dungeon where the descent never ends and danger escalates the deeper you go.
