Wild Crazy 8s
The Crazy Eights roguelike. Every 8 is wild: call the suit, keep the chain alive, and cash out monster combos. Build decks that bend the rules, stack House Rules that multiply each other, and break the casino one floor at a time.

Every 8 is wild
Wild Crazy 8s is a roguelike deckbuilder built on Crazy Eights — the card game where eights go wild. An 8 plays on anything, at any time, and lets you call the next suit. It rescues dead hands, keeps a scoring chain alive, and steers the pile toward the cards you're still holding. When to play your eights is the choice every run hinges on.
Chain cards, bank combos
On your turn, play any card that matches the pile's suit or rank — or drop an 8 if you're feeling wild. Chain as many cards together as you can; each one scores (base chips + card value) × Boost, and your Combo climbs with every card and carries over between turns. Drawing resets the Combo but raises your base chips for the rest of the round. Beat the round's target before your turns run out.
Rig the game in the Gift Shop
Every round pays out, and the Gift Shop is where the run goes off the rails. House Rules are persistent scoring modifiers with powerful synergies — the right combination warps the math of every card you play. Card packs add enhanced cards that pay extra chips, Boost, or cash. Perks upgrade the whole run; Tricks & Boons are one-shots you save for the perfect moment. Nothing wins by itself: you win by building an engine where deck, rules, and perks all push the same plan.
Nine floors to the Penthouse
A run climbs nine floors of the casino, from the Lobby to the Penthouse. Every floor ends at a boss table with its own restriction on how you score, and every win unlocks the next difficulty.

36 bosses, each with a different scoring restriction
50 perks and 24 starting decks — several built around the 8s themselves
