Whitewasher

You don't ask where the evidence comes from. You just decide what disappears. Inspect packages, destroy bloody materials with machines, or return clean ones. A dark management game in a corrupt pharmaceutical giant's basement, until the wrong package makes you question everything.

About the Game

  • You are a Whitewasher, a cleaner hired to do the dirty work nobody talks about. Every shift, suspicious boxes arrive via the elevator. Your job: retrieve them, figure out how to open them safely, destroy the evidence inside, and ask no questions. But the boxes have a way of making you ask questions anyway.

  • Get Boxes & Open Them Each box that arrives is locked, labeled, and potentially dangerous. Examine the markings, study the lock mechanism, and determine the correct procedure to open it without triggering hidden hazards. One wrong move and you could damage the contents, or yourself.

  • Operate different destruction machines by following specific procedures; adjust settings and avoid mistakes that can damage equipment or lose valuable materials.

  • Piece together the story by inspecting the contents of each package, discovering hidden clues, and deciding whether to follow orders or question them.

    Features:

    • Puzzle-based box examination and unlocking system with unique hazard conditions per box

    • Multiple destruction machines, each with distinct operating rules and failure states

    • A narrative mystery told entirely through the evidence you're meant to destroy

    • Moral choices: comply with orders or investigate the conspiracy
