About the Game

Eight years ago, the radio destroyed Roland’s life. Since then, the young farmer has lived his life cut from the world and from himself. Everything changes when, one night, the old station wakes up and lightning rips the sky in half.

In White Week, you travel through a rich 2D world looking for answers and secrets. Your actions are minigames based on four gameplay cores, dexterity, agility, charisma and force. Every key moment takes place during turn-based combats where your choices are made organically through the outcome as well as your skills and your playing style.

Explore an ever changing world.

Discover Roland’s home and its many landscapes as strange events start to reshape it. Find secret passages and open new paths.

Talk with everything that has a voice (or doesn’t).

Encounter curious characters, creatures and… things finding their way into the forest. Whether they are aggressive, peaceful or sometimes ambiguous, it’s up to you to decide how to interact with them.

Face the dangers of the forest… and elsewhere.

Influence the story through turn-based confrontations where outcomes depend on your approach. Will you use violence, fear or the goodness of your heart to go forward, that is if your adversaries let you? Be curious and experiment as you face creatures with their own strange logic. Think carefully, some of your actions could have irreversible consequences.

Do stuff!

Whether it’s gathering dandelions, reasoning a treacherous bird or pushing back against a robot sent by a mysterious power, everything is a minigame. Specialise yourself in one or more gameplay cores, here, there are no statistics! Roland’s skills are yours.

And don’t forget to take care of yourself and those you hold dear. Your mistakes and errors are what makes the story! In White Week, there is no Game Over.
