About the Game

You play as a young man walking alone on a path at night with nothing but a flashlight.  Explore the forest and discover what stirs when he ignores the wisdom of his elders and whistles at night.

Whistling at Night is a one-shot horror narrative experience designed to be completed in under an hour.  Join young Stokes as he enters his "find out" period and enjoy:

  • An atmospheric journey through the birch forest

  • A horror music track using only forest animal sounds (edited by a human)

  • A nighttime story told by a loving granny

  • simple point-and-click style mechanics

  • partial voice acting

  • An unescapable reckoning

Whistling at Night is designed to be played during daylight hours and/or with headphones.  If played at night without headphones, it is advised that the player and any witnesses stay indoors until sunrise.  You never know what's listening.
