About the Game

🌲 Enter a forest you were never meant to leave

This game is an atmospheric walking simulator inspired by dark legends and stories from the Appalachian Mountains.
You venture deep into a forest where people have disappeared for decades — and where something still lurks among the trees.

You are not a hero. You have no weapons.
You are just another lost soul who stepped too far off the path… and may never return.

Several nights. One goal: survive.

You will spend multiple nights in the forest, a place that changes once the sun goes down.
During the day, you try to find a way to safety, navigate the environment, and move forward.
At night, the forest becomes hostile — quiet, dark, and dangerous.

There are no puzzles and no objectives designed to slow you down.
You keep walking. You follow the path. You listen to the sounds around you.
And you hope that nothing is following you.

👁️ Monsters, randomness, and hidden details

The forest is not empty.
It is home to several different monsters, each with its own behavior.
Their movement is random, meaning no playthrough is ever the same — you can never be sure what waits beyond the next tree.

You can:

  • move straight through the environment…

  • or choose to explore it more carefully

Some locations hide easter eggs, environmental details, and subtle hints, not required to progress, but meant to deepen the atmosphere and suggest what happened to others before you.

The game features:

  • random encounters with monsters

  • jumpscares

  • a small number of NPCs you may encounter — or miss entirely

  • a strong focus on atmosphere, sound design, and tension

The forest chooses its victims.
The only question is whether you will become one of them.
