Whispers in the Dark is an online horror game where you manage a paranormal agency. With your teammates, explore haunted locations, gather clues, and face terrifying entities. Your progression relies on an innovative research system that expands your Codex, skills, and equipment.
📚 A research system that changes everything
Missions → unlock new maps and paranormal cases.
Skills → develop your abilities and unlock new tools.
Entities → study and identify the 12 ghosts, revealing their sensitivities and curses.
⚒️ Full RPG progression
Earn experience and spend skill points.
Customize your playstyle (investigator, tool specialist, hardened survivor).
Equip up to 8 skills to create a unique role within the team.
🔧 Evolving equipment
Use a wide range of tools (EMF, candle, ghostly book, UV camera, etc.).
Each item comes in three qualities: cheap (fragile), good (reliable), or excellent/legendary.
Rare artifacts like the Montserrat Crucifix can turn the tide of a mission.
🏚️ Co-op horror with replayability
Each investigation is different: phenomena, behaviors, and clues vary with your choices and progression.
Survive, banish, or seal the entity within its hearth (fetish object)… if you can.
