Some places feel like home the moment you walk in: sun on the floorboards, an old film flickering on the wall, a story playing softly on the radio, and a friend curled up nearby. Whiskers of Yesterday is that place.

No rush. The garden will wait.

🐈 Be a cat

Explore a sunlit house and garden at cat height. Nap wherever you like, purr, meow, knock things off tables and break the occasional vase.

Oops. Not sorry.

Keep an eye on the robot vacuum, or jump in the pool for a swim.

📻 A house full of yesterday's treasures

Curl up by the story radio with over 70 hours of classic audiobooks: Alice in Wonderland, The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Treasure Island, Heidi, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and fairy tales like The Velveteen Rabbit, The Little Mermaid and The Happy Prince.

Watch silent films from the early 1900s on the terrace projector, from A Trip to the Moon to The Impossible Voyage. Turn on the music radio for songs by independent artists. Find Hokusai's Great Wave and Leonardo's notes around the house. Everything you discover is kept in "What the cat found". And up on the roof, an old guardian cat named Aethel shares a quiet thought now and then.
