About the Game

This house is not a home.

Where the Walls Breathe is a psychological horrorĀ experience about a house that is bigger on the inside than out, and the man trapped within it with a strong focus on atmosphere and environmental storytelling.

STORY:

After realizing that things were not right in their home Alex and his wife Annie decided to move out. Annie left with the kids that moment. With his wife and kids safe, Alex stayed behind to pack up and move their belongings. With Alex alone things began to spin out of control. Windows moving, doors locking, and paranormal visions began occurring with increasing frequency.

GAMEPLAY:

  • Piece together the strange story of the house by finding mysterious notes seemingly written by a former inhabitant and environmental storytelling.

  • Search for clues | keys | more - open drawers, cabinets, almost everything, inspect objects.

  • Search for matches and use them to keep candles burning.

  • Manage the house electricity during power outages through the breaker box.

  • Solve problems with simple puzzles.
