About the Game

Welcome To Camp Blue Lake is a first-person retro horror game set in the mid 1980's. You Play as an unnamed protagonist who is dealing with various mental illnesses, most prominently severe schizophrenia. You see a therapist every day, but it doesn't seem work, nothing you try makes the voices and hallucinations stop, and they never will.

One night as you sit on your couch in your old, crappy apartment, the only thing you could afford, the voices in your head seem louder, more demanding, telling you to go to an old camp that was abandoned a few years ago due to a shocking story that took place a few years back where a group of 10 campers and their 2 counselors went missing with no explanation to this day.

But as you walk upon these old campgrounds you discover something strange past the old abandoned cabins, lone watchtower, and the long burnt out campfire. In the basement of a lone home on the far edge of the camp site. Is this really what the voices were leading you too? What does it mean?

As you step closer to the thing you found in the basement, an urge overtakes you. An urge to kill. To feed. Could this link to those disappearances those few years back? You're not sure, but as if something infiltrated your brain and started piloting your thoughts, the urge to kill and feed only gets stronger. You're mind berating you with demanding thoughts, thoughts that go far beyond your morals. But deep inside you, your body responds with the need to fulfill the demands.

Now, when you stare into the hallucinations, they seem to stare back much stronger than before.
