About the Game

A true duck-souls-like experience. Inspired by Fromsoft classics such as Sekiro and DarkSouls, Waterfowl is a parry based, Souls-like, action adventure that rewards those who master its combat through rhythm.

Combat is fast and exciting, yet smooth, focusing on deflecting enemy attacks and countering with your own. Waterfowl uses a posture system that breaks enemies when you apply constant pressure, rewarding confident attacking and deflecting.

Explore a world infested by yokai from the spirit world, complete quests to unravel stories and defeat challenging bosses. As players progress, they unlock new abilities/weapons that keep combat feeling addictive.

Waterfowl features a 3D pixel art style where despite being rendered in 3D, the game feels like authentic 2D pixel art.

Waterfowl is currently still in the early stages of development.
