About the Game

WARRIOR CHEF

Play as Mako, a Warrior Chef in a fantasy world of sentient food, chopping up foes for ingredients to cook new abilities in a 3D Metroidvania about eating your way through four Food Kingdoms in a race to stop the spreading Rot.

COMBAT

Deep sword combat has you master Mako's two-handed chef knife, a family heirloom sharp enough to split food in two. Modify it's moveset with special Whetstones providing utility, manoeuvrability or raw power.

COOKING

With a self-heating pot attached at the hip, Mako can cook on the go. The more he eats the stronger his abilities grow, with a variety of ingredient synergies and augmenting Spices to be found. Be warned- with such power comes one hell of a food coma.

FEATURES

  • Cook Your Abilities! Eat food to gain powers in combat and traversal, with new enemies allowing for new ingredients and combinations making each level play differently.
  • Slice Up Enemies! Weakened foes can be chopped in two, dropping double the ingredients.
  • Befriend New Chefs! Meet a diverse cast of characters from different Food Kingdoms and chef cultures who assist Mako in his adventure.
  • Stop The Rot! Find and end the source of a plague that is consuming the land; a world without food would be a world without chefs.
