Recruit, this is why you’re here!

Think this is easy? News flash: it’s not. It’s about to get a whole lot harder—this is just the beginning!

I’m Boss Johnson, your CO from now on. Consider yourself lucky; you could’ve ended up with Smithy. We’re here because of “The Lockdown”, when that self-aware AI, ERIS, decided to take over the world using an army of IoT devices. Do you remember “The Lockdown”? I do. How could I forget?

The enemy is everywhere. ERIS (Enhanced Resource Integration System) has weaponised everyday devices, creating an unprecedented army.

But they’ve got one weakness: BULLETS! We’ve got the munitions—5.56, 7.62, RPG rounds, to take them head on.

We've been developing a secret weapon: a WMD-Grade EMP designed to disrupt electronics. Smaller versions have had varying success around the world, but we’re building THE EMP to hit them where it really hurts, right in the CPU. A couple more tests, and we’ll end this.

Welcome to the Resistance!

You’re to be trained up, you’re part of the resistance now

ERIS has taken over most of the world with only a handful of small secure pockets we can call home for now. It’s there you’ll undertake your training, with each location simulating a different type of combat scenario.

Familiarise yourself with various weaponry

As I’ve said, you’ll have access to various weaponry: these have been clawed together from various scavenging missions, and left over by the world’s armies. First, we’ll cover the basics, and you’ll be trained on the following weapons in 3 different training grounds within the locations we currently have secure from our enemy.

Will you be the best recruit of the bunch, and join special operations?

Each time you complete a run through of a training ground, you’ll receive your score, and be compared to the other recruits we have scattered around the globe. In order to be considered for the special operations, you must be able to prove you have what it takes to be the best and outperform your peers.
