About the Game

VIOLA_ is a 2D interrogation visual novel game where you play as an Interrobot, a robot sent to the Canta police station to eke out the truth from the eccentric criminals and witnesses you encounter. This world is inhabited by Cees, people with circular heads and a penchant for violence reminiscent of stick figures.

Meet the Chosens:

Johnny Abraham: This laid-back, slightly airheaded, donut-loving cop is always ready to provide a helping hand or bring you along for some fun of his own. However, don't mistake his kindness and scatterbrained tendencies for weakness. He's been put on the station for a reason, after all.

Sammy Paulissen: The station's lead investigator and sole lady. She doesn't like you, to put it lightly. But while she takes working with you with gritted teeth and a begrudging attitude, she's still plenty reliable. Especially with it comes to her friends in the station. Underneath that prickly exterior lies something softer - just not for you, sorry!

Chief Hancock: The Star station's unshakable chief of police. He might seem intimidating at first, but there's no need to be afraid of your new boss! As it turns out, he's quite the gentle giant, willing to aid you with a seemingly inexhaustible supply of patience. Raising two kids on his own might have helped. But how much of that smile can you trust? He always knows something you don't - and he's very content with that!

Walt Haley: Make way for the donut boy! Walt's not an employee of the Star station, but he might as well be with how often he comes by with boxes of the freshly baked pastries. But Walt himself is just as sweet as the delectable desserts he brings. Though he has a bit of an obsession with justice, cops, and especially Sammy. That won't be a problem, will it?
