Victim Complex is an eerie, atmospheric survival horror game about exploring a haunted apartment complex, where several people have already died under mysterious and tragic circumstances… and whatever killed them is still lurking, hungry for blood. Put your wits and your ghost-hunting tools to work to solve the mystery of all those deaths– before it’s too late to prevent your own!

Jack Lognare is the best fake ghost-hunter around; there’s no one better at going into “haunted” buildings with a bunch of light-up doodads and a spooked expression and pretending to be terrified– or more often, not. When he gets a well-paying offer to declare an abandoned apartment complex officially “exorcised”, he shows up in the middle of the night with his usual tools… and quickly discovers that he’s stumbled across the real deal! For the first time, he’ll have to walk the walk– or find himself joining the dead!

HELP THE DEAD FIND THEIR PEACE!

The apartment complex is full of the lingering spirits of the people who have died there, through mysterious accidents– or perhaps at the hands of the malevolent entity stalking the halls. Explore the building– the units, the laundry-room, the mail-room, the dumpsters, the basement, everywhere– in order to find clues and useful items related to the past lives and deaths. When the time is right, make peace between the spirits and their torment, and cleanse them from the complex. Perhaps even the dark malevolence itself can be somehow understood…
