The main character is Monica, a strict and lonely middle-aged judge who has long been accustomed to hiding her desires behind her black robe and impartial gaze. On this day, Liam, a young, confident driver caught speeding at 17 miles per hour, appears in her courtroom. But from the very first second, something more than just formalities flares up between them.
