About the Game

On the surface, Verano offers a gentle blend of exploration and fishing. Players sail between islands, discover vibrant fishing spots filled with unique sea life, and engage in dynamic, skill-based fishing encounters through quests and challenges.

Gameplay

  • Exploration

Sail the open seas to uncover new fishing grounds and encounter a wide array of marine species.

  • Fishing

Players are challenged to anticipate fish behavior and use a mix of reflexes, timing, and stamina to reel in their catch. Advanced encounters demand mastery of mechanics and keen observation.

  • Upgrade

Catches can be sold to earn new gear, bait, and tools that unlock access to new areas and rarer species. Tools can be strategically combined to better suit specific challenges, making progress feel both personal and purposeful.

While Verano is designed to be accessible and instantly engaging, aimed at both casual and extended play, it's narrative subtly unfolds over the curse of one unexpected summer. As the summer festival nears the island, fish are becoming scarce and an ominous and large serpentine-like creature lurks the island's shores in darkness.
