Veilfall: True Strength is a fantasy tactical role playing game set in a realm in which the nightmares of man are sequestered behind the titular Veil. Unbeknownst to those living in this world, the Veil is beginning to fray, and the horrors locked away have begun bleeding through.
You take on the role of Parlan Reed and Sian Ardelene as they seek to recover kith and kin from an empire that conquered their country. Strive to overcome both man and monster, but take care not to push your units too far, lest they be stranded on the battlefield.
Key Mechanics:
Fatigue: Every action - from swinging an axe to casting a spell to simply moving about the battlefield - takes its toll. Tactically deploy units and choose your actions carefully to minimize your own Fatigue buildup while capitalizing on debuffs to exploit the enemy.
Strive: Act and Move again on the same turn at the cost of higher Fatigue generation.
Potential: As units learn skills - the main avenue of character growth - they gain "blank" stat points that can become any of the six Core Stats, dependent on the actions they take in and out of combat.
