In the distant future, the Dominion—a ruthless faction bent on galactic domination—launches a surprise invasion on Solaris Prime, a planet rich in Nexus energy. This vital resource powers the interconnected Nexus Network, the backbone of galactic civilization. Your elite squad, Vanguard Unit 7, is dispatched to repel the invasion and safeguard the colony. As the Dominion tightens its grip on Solaris Prime, Unit 7 is tasked with daring covert operations. From sabotaging Dominion energy siphons to neutralizing command outposts.

The front row is the frontline—ideal for durable, melee-focused units who can withstand enemy pressure. The back row serves as the rear guard, offering a safer position for ranged attackers and support specialists.

Players will command a three-member squad, each equipped with unique skills suited to specific tactical roles. A new unit special ability will be unlocked after every successful run.

To replace RNG and give players control in combat, Vanguard Unit 7 uses a skill-based Damage Bar. During attacks, a moving marker slides across a segmented bar (Miss, Weak, Normal, Strong, Critical). Time your input to stop the marker in the right zone and maximize damage.

Every run delivers a freshly generated dungeon experience. Each run features a uniquely generated dungeon with randomized rooms, layouts, and enemy formations. Enemy formations, including tactical front and back rows, are also shuffled. This means that even when facing familiar adversaries, each playthrough offers a distinct pace and strategic challenge.
