About the Game

Three ways to describe Unsound Love:

  • A non-linear, open-world escape room experience where nothing is explained — and everything must be discovered.

  • A Soulslike without combat. (More about this below.)

  • A haunting blend of Outer Wilds and Little Nightmares — trapped in a time loop you must explore, unravel, and survive through horror-driven action-puzzle sequences.

All sounds, from the wind in the trees to the monsters' roars, are made with musical instruments.

Unsound Love originally began as a fairly classic soulslike, featuring dodge rolls, combat systems, traps, and boss battles. However, after creating our first demo, we decided to remove many of these elements in order to explore other aspects of the soulslike genre that we personally love. As a result, the game may feel like a soulslike without a combat system, with a greater focus on exploring the world.

We are not allowed to say anything else.
