About the Game

An experience built around a simple idea: what if every feature of a game - from mechanics, to genre, to the player character's personal traits - could be enabled or disabled in any combination? You select features from the menu, then click play to see their effects. Explore the game and interact with its systems to unlock more options and watch the world evolve.

As you encounter puzzles and obstacles in the world, you adjust your features to find clever ways of conquering them. Fight enemies with combat options, change perspective with graphical options, or talk to NPCs with social options. There are multiple ways to overcome each roadblock - but you can only have so many features active at once.

Unlock: The Game can be a text adventure, a top-down 2D RPG, or a first-person 3D journey.

Unlock: The Game can be a medieval forest, a cyberpunk city, or a high school with a dark secret.

Unlock: The Game can be whatever you choose... but your choices have consequences. Pick your features carefully as you make your way through the game's six areas.
