About the Game

Unexpected Sequence is a game inspired by classic bullet hell titles, aiming to keep the original feel and some of the difficulty.

Waking up from stasis on a derelict Factory-class starship, you find yourself in a sector ravaged by life-purging machines. A quick scan reveals that your homeworld suffered the same fate, as did most of the galaxy. Your only hope is returning to the last remaining vestiges of humanity. However, a legion of merciless machines stands between you and your goal.

Find your playstyle

  • Multiple ships to choose from, each with unique abilities
  • Multiple weapon types
  • Unlock additional ships and special abilities as you progress
  • Several paintjobs and energy colors to customize your ship

Countless enemies to fight

Enemies, Elites, Minibosses and unique Bosses, the Codex registers all AI warforms as you encounter them, and even offers you the chance to practice your skills against any troublesome boss.

Unlock New Game + after finishing your playthrough, enabling new challenging modes such as:
