About the Game

Hello everyone, I’ve been creating and developing this survival horror game on my own for quite some time now. It’s been a long journey, and I’m thrilled to finally share this work with you all, the inspiration and ideas for this game comes from the stories and myths of the south of the UK, so, if you dare to join me and confront the dark secrets hidden Under The Basement in a desperate fight for survival, you’re more than welcome to try!

Can you help a lost game developer escape this unsettling place and survive?

There are stories that were never meant to be told, places that were never meant to be found, and secrets that were never meant to be uncovered.

In Under The Basement, you play as game developer venturing into a mysterious forest to capture reference footage. What starts as a peaceful expedition quickly spirals into a harrowing fight for survival.

How deep will you go to find a way out?

Gameplay mechanics description: Play in a third-person perspective and experience cutscenes in first person. Explore this secret place in the south of the UK. Try to defend yourself from this hostile environment using the melee weapons you will able to collect along the path, while you try to find a way out from this disturbing place.

Above all, death in this game may not be the end.

And always remember that make a game is not a game.
