About the Game

Typo Royale is a competitive speed typing and spelling game. Phrases are read aloud by an announcer and players must type the phrase. To be the best, you'll need to be an elite speller and typist.

Game Modes

  • Royale - Last player standing wins. No mistakes allowed. The phrase gets more difficult each round as players get eliminated.

  • Competitive - Ranked multiplayer. No mistakes allowed. Climb the ladder. Reach the top and become a certified Wordsmith.

  • Casual - Multiplayer with resubmissions allowed. Same speed as competitive, but lower stakes.

  • Practice - Solo mode. Pick your difficulty, replay phrases. Great for learning and warming up.

How it Works

Each round, a phrase is read aloud by an announcer. After a countdown, everyone types at once. Points are awarded for speed and accuracy - the fastest correct answer wins the round. Incorrect spelling scores zero.

Phrases range from simple everyday words to challenging vocabulary across seven difficulty tiers. Matches select phrases based on your skill rating, so you're always playing at your level.
