This is a typing game where you type a book—simple as that. If you want to read the original 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, the Modern Prometheus while practicing your typing skills at the same time, this game is for you.

Race Your Ghost

In this game you have to type fast. Faster than yourself. 

When you set a new high score on a paragraph, the movement of your cursor during that run is recorded.

The next time you type that paragraph, it appears as a ghost cursor so you can compare your progress to your previous best run.

It becomes an intense experience when you're going head-to-head with your ghost and your fingers are hammering the keyboard as fast as they can.

Chapters and Paragraphs

The book has been broken down into chapters and paragraphs, because typing a full novel in a single sitting is nearly impossible.

A paragraph can be completed in a couple of minutes, which is much more suitable for an intense speed-typing session.

You receive a score when you complete a paragraph, and you may also earn a medal. To advance to the next chapter, you must collect enough medals from paragraphs.

No Mistakes Allowed

It's a bit harsh, but that's how this game works.

Whenever you make a spelling mistake, the word is deleted and you have to start over. There is no accuracy score, but your time score will take a hit if you make mistakes.

Hidden Words

Learning to type is no good without knowing how to spell. That's why, in this game, you have to remember the word you are currently typing.

This is enforced by hiding the word as soon as you begin typing it. If you get really stuck and can't remember the word, wait one second and it will reappear.

Save and Reload

You get three saves for each paragraph.

You can save and reload whenever you want, but spend your saves wisely. If you save frequently in the beginning, you may have no saves left for the end. Restarting a paragraph restores your saves.
