About the Game

Type & Magic is a puzzle platformer where you must create the platforms yourself.

You are a sorcerer’s apprentice, sent to investigate the ruins of a mysterious castle. Type the words to create a path to walk on. Traverse collapsing halls filled with traps and forgotten secrets.

Can you hear the castle whispering to you?

But you weren’t just sent here to observe. Your master awaits your report.

What you tell him is up to you.

Features

  • Type to build: Create your path one letter at a time with a unique word-based platforming mechanic.

  • Puzzle platforming with a twist: Think before you type. Navigate levels that test not just your typing skills, but your puzzle-solving and timing.

  • Auto-walk mechanics: Your character never stops moving. Use walls, jumps, and well-timed typing to guide them through the level.

  • Choose your difficulty: If you are feeling like an extra challenge, some levels contain additional puzzles that take you to hidden artifacts. If you ever get stuck, just use a hint.

  • Uncover a mystery: Find scraps of lore and listen to the castle’s whispers to discover its dark history.

  • Multiple endings: What you report to your master and how you engage with the world shapes the outcome of the story.
