Twin Stick Checkers completely flips the classic board game, turning it into chaotic, real-time combat. Now, every single piece is also a turret you control, opening up loads of tactical options for shooting, defending, and even sacrificing.

Go head-to-head against the AI if you're playing solo, challenge a friend in local couch co-op multiplayer, or jump online for battles using Steam Remote Play Together.

The core of the game remains familiar: an 8x8 board and two opposing armies aiming to capture pieces.

However, the battlefield has evolved. Now, every piece possesses enhanced capabilities:

  • Firepower: Pieces can shoot bullets in any direction.

  • Defense: They can activate shields to block incoming attacks.

  • Tactics: Action meters are available for both offensive and defensive maneuvers.

Success hinges on more than just captures; it demands strategic planning, superior positioning, and impeccable timing.

Each unit functions as a mini turret on the battlefield.
