About the Game

Having crash-landed on an island in the Atlantic Ocean, you take the role of Player, a man determined to get back to the mainland for his nephew's sake.

  • A 2D, 4:3, top-down, pixel art action-adventure game with a simple control scheme!

  • Traverse through several islands on-foot, in-boat, and more!

  • Solve various puzzles to navigate through each island.

  • Get to know the islanders: how will you help them?

  • Engage in battles: fight your way through or figure out how to resolve the battle another way.

  • Sail between islands quickly, dodging debris and obstacles to avoid crashing!

  • Go fishing to earn gold coins, but watch out for any fish!

  • Upgrade your weapon and armour through Clark's SHOP, exploration, and secret pathways...

  • Your choices matter: so play Traversal however you want to play it.

  • Make your way back home, and reunite Player with his nephew!

Traversal has several accessibility settings that the player can enable at almost any time, ranging from high contrast UI colour schemes, an optional custom font built for improved legibility, reduced camera movement, and, if a controller is plugged in, the ability to disable the on-by-default vibration. As the game is developed, these accessibility features are considered at every step of development, and as development continues, with your input, more accessibility improvements will be made where possible.
