About the Game

STORY

Rem T. Saikle is a struggling man on his planet, Melatai, who faces classism alongside his older sister, Piper.

However, when Trauvia, a planet-turned-mothership, arrives and announces its plan to eradicate Melatai after enslaving hard-working farmers and fishers, Rem is forced to defend himself and his people, using a sword he stole from the Trauvians.

And after Leader Seax, Trauvia's supreme leader, notifies Rem of the kidnapping and ransom of his sister, Rem must do something only the insane would do: Stop the entire army.

GAMEPLAY

Learn the layout of levels before running through them as fast as you can to get a better rank! Other badges can be obtained at each level for killing every single enemy, not killing any enemies, and/or taking no damage. Level layouts won't change based on the difficulty you choose. However, the way you interact with them changes:

  • EASY: Checkpoints can be used infinitely, and you will do slightly more damage to enemies.

  • NORMAL: Checkpoints can only be used 3 times.

  • HARD: Checkpoints are disabled, and boss enemy health bars will refill if you die during a boss fight.

Items can be used in-game; they are single-use, so spend wisely! You will be able to sell items you collect from enemies after completing a level.

Trance World usually takes roughly 30-45 minutes per chapter. It is a perfect game to pick up, mindlessly practice your platforming skills (or find new ways to speedrun levels), and put down!
