About the Game

Meet Troy, the new Gatekeeper at a desolate railway crossing in the middle of nowhere, desperately trying to save his marriage. The job is supposed to be simple: spend one month at the Tower, control the crossing gate, stay sober, and prove to his wife that he can change.

While train schedules and daily errands keep you inside, something waits in the fog beyond the crossing. Unraveling the mystery and helping Troy fix his life will be harder than you think.

Trainwatch is a new time-management psychological horror from Harvester Games, the acclaimed solo developer behind The Cat Lady, Downfall, Lorelai, and Burnhouse Lane.

Check the timetable. Lower the gates, watch the train pass, and raise them again. A Gatekeeper’s work is simple, repetitive, almost tedious – until every errand, every strange call, and every step into the fog makes you question what is really important.

Learn the routine, respect the clock, but most importantly keep your promise to call your wife every single day.

Something is calling from the fog beyond the crossing. Venture outside to meet strange neighbors and explore occult grounds.

Discover locked places, hidden paths, and secrets never meant for you.

Keep Troy’s sanity and stamina meters high. If you fail, then hunger, exhaustion, fear, and neglect will wear him down, while every missed call with his wife pushes him closer to a relapse.

Work the shift, unlock new skills, go fishing, brew the coffee – do whatever it takes to stay sober.

Trains come and go, strangers ask for help, while daily errands and distractions pile up. All the while, the fog keeps calling as you try to be a better man. You're on the clock, and you can't chase every lead, keep every promise, or make every day perfect.

Decide what matters most and learn to let go. You have only one month to try and fix Troy's life.
