One weekend, the little girl Brickey and her cousin Hockie are left to look after the house while the grown-ups are away doing casual works. Suddenly, a bunch of socks burst in and whisk them away to "Dadom Island," where the girls are about to have a crazy adventure with their new pals.

A quirky and mischievous fifth-grader.
Unlike most kids her age, she prefers “making friends” with her toys over people.
She loves exploring the woods and catching bugs, but absolutely can’t stand cold weather.
As the protagonist of this story, she is the key to reaching Dadom Island.
She’s a bit afraid of her cousin Hockie.
Brickey’s cousin, a ninth-grader in junior high.
Her perpetually grumpy face makes it hard to read her true feelings.
Though awkward in social situations, she’s a reliable defender on her school’s hockey team.
She's dragged into Dadom Island against her will, and doesn’t really get along with Brickey.
Her hair is dyed, and beneath the surface, she harbors the rebellious and anxieties of a teenager,
maybe more intense than most.
