About the Game

Toroban is an infinitely wrapping puzzle game. Explore a nonlinear overworld full of interconnected puzzles. There are various biomes to experience, each with unique mechanics and themes. The game initially launched with 270 solvable puzzles, but the final endgame area is still under development.

Tutorial (Grass)

This is the starting area, which contains simple toroidal puzzles with blocks, buttons, and gates.

Regions (Ruins)

The walls have crumbled in this area, allowing access to puzzles from the outside world. Objects can be transferred between puzzles. Players must alternate between activating the toroidal puzzles and interacting with the puzzles from the outside world.

Offsets (Snow)

This area contains X and Y axis blocks, that when moved, shift the alignment of the toroidal grid.

Toros (Fall)

The characters in Toroban are called toros. There can be multiple toros in a puzzle, and this area explores the concepts of how they can work together to solve puzzles.

Combined (Desert)

All of the mechanics combine together in this area. Completely new kinds of puzzles emerge!

Advanced (Cosmic) - UNDER DEVELOPMENT

Various overworld mechanics are used within puzzles here. NOTE: This area is still under development, but is beatable in the current state.
