Toriki: The Castaway Island is a cooperative family game where players try to survive on a deserted island by exploring various locations, obtaining resources, discovering new species and crafting new items. You need the board game to be able to use this app.
The game is a digital hybrid mixing physical components with the app. The players move their meeples around the map and scan QR codes printed on cards to perform actions. The app provides narration and describes the results of the players’ actions, as well as playing background sounds.
The game is played as a single continuous adventure that takes about 6–8 hours to complete, though you can pause and save it at any time.
