About the Game

"to the" is a single-path philosophical adventure. where no two players share the same experience — a bold, challenging work that questions modern society.

Game Overview

This is a philosophical walking simulator that tests your memory and luck × strategy. Keep moving forward — your goal is to reach 10,000 meters.

  • Prove your memory

Along the way you will be faced with a variety of binary choices. Remember the “correct” choices you encounter; selecting them again later will lengthen the path. Fail to choose correctly and the path shortens.

Crucially, what counts as a “correct” choice differs from player to player

    — other people’s answers won’t help. What you need is your own memory.

  • Outstrategize Luck

You’ll often find yourself facing philosophical dilemmas — “Is love more important than money?” — questions with no single correct answer. At times you can opt for ‘Luck’ instead of choosing directly. Outcomes are partly governed by chance, but your strategic choices change the odds and the difficulty of those outcomes.

Love or money — which will you choose?

If you fail to extend the path and reach its “terminus” before 10,000 m, it’s game over.

When you finally reach 10,000 m, you will learn a truth that overturns everything

and realize that the game itself was philosophy.

Story

You stood on a strange, single road whose length kept changing. With not a scrap of memory, you begin an endless forward march. Exposed to a deluge of knowledge, beasts rush ahead in pursuit of their ideals.

“End your restless days — question the way you live.”
