About the Game

About This Game

Play as a creature exploring the surface of a living island consumed by a mysterious corruption. This affliction takes the form of white coral that infects every living being, turning them hostile. Inherit the island's powers and master time itself to cleanse its inhabitants and restore its fragile ecosystem.

Control the Flow of Time

Manipulate the flow of time for yourself, objects, and enemies. Each target reacts differently depending on the situation, allowing you to approach combat and puzzles in multiple ways.

Rewind

Rewind time to undo your own actions and escape dangerous situations, or force a target to repeat the movements it performed just moments before.

Accelerate

Speed up time to increase your mobility or alter the behavior of certain objects. Use this ability to overcome obstacles, solve time-based puzzles, and gain the upper hand in combat.

Overcome Time-Based Challenges

Explore a variety of dynamic puzzles where mastering your temporal abilities is essential. Manipulate time to reshape your surroundings, reach corrupted areas, and continue your journey across the island.

Purify the Island

Confront corrupted creatures, use your time powers strategically, and heal their hosts to gradually restore balance to the island.

A Student Project

Time Flow is a student project developed over the course of a single semester by a team of 11 students, following several design constraints:

  • Gameplay centered around time manipulation.

  • A single shared resource.

  • An adventure set on a floating island.

  • No dialogue.
