When the villagers of Derevnya begin turning up maimed, suspicion falls on you. Track down the beast to clear your name and save the village—but to unravel the mystery, you will need to confront your own past.
Nightwell Games' inaugural title is a survival-horror narrative game set in the rich medieval world of Kievan Rus'. After the demo version of this game made waves in InkJam 2022 and Spooktober 4th Annual Visual Novel Jam, we are pleased to now present the full-length game.
This 7-chapter illustrated choose your own adventure game/visual novel is 87,000 words long with a play time of 3-5 hours for one playthrough. There are over 1200 meaningful choices in this game, including a customizable protagonist, 7 different discoverable backstories, and 4 main endings with many variations. It includes 40 high-res hand-drawn illustrations and an atmospheric, ethereal original soundtrack. This package includes the complete downloadable game for Windows in 1920x1080 fullscreen format.
