About the Game

Pick a Hero 

Choose from a diverse cast of characters who each have their own unique abilities, factions and playstyles.  When combined with your troops, items and powerups in the Forest, you can create interesting, bizarre and game-breaking synergies.  

Squad-Building RTS

The Waking of Haven is a low-click RTS with action rogue-like elements.  You play as a champion with a unique set of abilities, but ultimately you can only accomplish success by assembling a squad of troops to fight by your side.  These troops can follow simple orders but be careful - they sometimes have a will of their own and will flee if they sense the tide of battle turning against them.  This applies to enemies as well, so use that to your advantage!

Venture Forth & Explore

The forest itself shifts and changes over time.  Be careful - there’s no way of knowing what dangers - or wonders -might lie in wait for you ahead!  The forest’s inhabitants have not taken kindly to your intrusion and as time passes, the forest becomes more aware of your presence and will send more powerful enemies to stop you.

Defend Haven

Haven is a magical place that shelters you - as well as the good peoples of the Forest - from the Watchers.  To keep it hidden from their sight, you must defend the Aether Forge by building fortifications and repelling the swarms of evil creatures who will try to stop you.

Grow Stronger

Each day resets your abilities and your squad, allowing you to shape your next build in new and interesting ways.  Invest in Perk Points for your skills, level up your troops, equip them with armaments, and acquire powerful artifacts to exploit the natural synergies between your skills, your forces and your items.

Defeat the Wathcers

The old man who welcomes you into his Forest - Pan - has given you a quest.  Go forth, explore the forest, gather resources and defend Haven.  Who knows?  In time, you might even become powerful enough to challenge the mighty Watchers and restore the old Sowers who once watched over this kind and ancient land.  But something tells you there's a secret that slumbers at the heart of this forest ... and Haven has something to do with it.
