About the Game

Bring a dead garden back to life.

The Waking Grove begins with a small patch of dry, lifeless soil. Hold your touch over the earth, and watch the dryness fade. Dead ground softens into living grass beneath your hand. There is no rush here. No fail state. Just the quiet satisfaction of life returning, tile by tile.

Life spreads.

Every tile you restore breathes life into the ground around it. Restored earth slowly revives its neighbours on its own, so a garden you started by hand begins to finish itself. Flowers bloom. Berries ripen. Saplings push up through soil you woke last season.

The garden remembers.

Seasons turn, and the grove resets to bare soil or snow. But nothing you nurtured is ever truly lost. The soil remembers. A berry bush leaves roots that wake again in spring. A protected sapling grows into a young tree across the cycles.

Shape your own grove.

Every island starts small, but you decide where it grows. Claim the coastline tile by tile. Push north toward open water, stretch west along the shore. No two gardens take the same shape. The island is yours to design.

An archipelago that stays alive.

When one island is complete, you move on to the next. But the old one never disappears. Finished islands mature into living scenery. Trees keep growing across the years. Sea channels draw between them, and the whole place becomes one connected map. What you built stays yours.

Grow, then let it grow itself.

Hire workers, Foragers, Foresters, Florists and more, to gather what you once gathered by hand. Spend Life Essence, Food and Wood on upgrades that make every touch reach further and every season bloom brighter. Find your rhythm and let the Flow system reward a steady, mindful pace. And when a cycle ends, draw a Seasonal Card to shape the next stage with a fresh twist.

A garden that keeps deepening.
